RHIS Global Class


Global Class is a program for international students at RHIS from all over the world that provides effective learning management and safe living management. RHIS offers classes in both Chinese and English from Grade 1 to Grade 9. It provides education suitable for college entrance exams for Grade 10 to Grade 12 students.

  • Chinese, English, Math classes are offered based on student levels, not ages.

  • Offers various classes including Chinese, English, Math, Art, P.E., Music, etc. 

  • Well-organized student management with homeroom teacher and deputy homeroom teacher each in class

  • Offers diverse experiences and activities during CAS (Creativity, activity, service) session

  • Starting Grade 10, students who plan to study abroad in English speaking countries will be studying at Study Abroad Class for additional English classes

New students can join RHIS at the beginning of each semester. If requested, student can begin their study at RHIS during the semester.

  • High School Class: A class for both international and Chinese students. An international student can join the class for Chinese students if desired and pass the interview
  • QP Class: A class for selected Grade 11 and 12 who aim for top Chinese universities, including Qinghua University and Peking University(Separate classes offered for liberal arts students and natural science students) 
  • Graduation Requirement: Graduation credits completion and HSK Level 5

Mock Tests for Chinese University Entrance Test in Chinese Literature, English, and Mathematics are offered (Only for Grade 11, 12)

Evaluation 


  • Test(Absolute Evaluation): Midterm(20%)+Final(30%)
  • Student Attitude: Attendance(20%)+Homework(15%)+Attitude(15%)
  • Student must stay in the dormitory on the weekend if their Student Attitude Grade is below 80 on the week.

Language Class Timetable

Language Class is for students with HSK Level 4 or below, regardless of their ages. The class is composed based on the student's Chinese, English, and Mathematics level. In addition to the three subjects, many subjects are taught, including art, P.E., and music. Diverse activities including club activities, volunteering, field trips are also offered. Homeroom teacher and deputy homeroom teacher manage the class.


Middle School Timetable

Grade 5~9 students at RHIS with HSK level 4 will study with below timetable. Both international and Chinese students study together. The curriculum includes club activities, volunteering, and field trip. International students can experience Chinese culture at homestay once in a year. An international student can join the domestic Chinese class if they pass the interview.


High School Timetable

Grade 10~12 students at RHIS will study with below timetable. There are classes offered based on student levels. Starting Grade 11, students are assigned to one class out of three: QP Class, Natural Science Class, and Liberal Arts Class. The graduation requirements are (1) graduation credits completion and (2) HSK Level 5.
